These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your invitation and participation in Hearth Summit Nairobi 2026 ("Event"), organized by Hearth Climate Initiative ("Organizer"). By accepting your invitation and attending the Event, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.
Hearth Summit Nairobi 2026 is an invite-only event. Attendance is by invitation from the Organizer only.
2.1 Attendance at the Event is by invitation only. Invitations are non-transferable without prior written approval from the Organizer.
2.2 Invitees must confirm their attendance by responding to the invitation by the specified RSVP deadline.
2.3 The Organizer reserves the right to revoke or extend invitations at its sole discretion.
2.4 There are no registration fees for this Event.
3.1 If you are unable to attend the Event, please notify the Organizer as soon as possible by contacting jonathan.munge@axum.earth
3.2 Early notification of cancellation allows the Organizer to extend invitations to others on the waiting list.
3.3 Invitations may be transferred to another individual with prior written approval from the Organizer. Transfer requests must be submitted to jonathan.munge@axum.earth.
4.1 The Organizer reserves the right to alter the Event program, speakers, venue, or schedule without prior notice.
4.2 In the unlikely event of Event cancellation due to circumstances beyond the Organizer's control (including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, or government restrictions), the Organizer will offer either a full refund or transfer to a rescheduled Event date.
4.3 The Organizer is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by invitees in case of Event changes or cancellation.
5.1 All Event content, including presentations, materials, and recordings, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
5.2 By attending the Event, you grant the Organizer permission to capture and use your image, voice, and likeness in photographs, videos, and recordings for promotional and documentation purposes.
5.3 Participants may not record, film, photograph, or capture Event content without prior written permission from the Organizer.
5.4 Participants may share Event experiences on social media using the official Event hashtag while respecting speakers' intellectual property rights.
6.1 All participants must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner throughout the Event.
6.2 Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
6.3 The Organizer reserves the right to remove any participant from the Event without refund for violation of the Code of Conduct.
6.4 Participants must comply with all venue safety and security protocols.
7.1 The Organizer is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to persons or property, regardless of cause.
7.2 Participants are advised to obtain their own travel, health, and personal property insurance.
7.3 As this is a complimentary invite-only event, the Organizer's liability for any claim arising from the Event is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8.1 The Organizer will collect and process personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at Privacy Policy.
8.2 By accepting your invitation and attending the Event, you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data for Event administration, communication, and as otherwise described in the Privacy Policy.
9.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
9.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms or participation in the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New York County, New York.
10.1 The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments will be effective upon posting to the Event website.
10.2 Continued acceptance of your invitation or participation in the Event following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
