Our commitment to creating a safe, respectful, and harassment-free environment for all attendees at Hearth Summit Nairobi 2026.

Hearth Summit Nairobi 2026 Code of Conduct

The Hearth Summit is committed to an environment free of harassment, discrimination, and threatening or disrespectful behavior. It is important to us that all delegates are able to participate fully in our programs. Help us make this a space that is physically and psychologically safe. We will not tolerate harassment in any form at our events. We reserve the right to remove any person who violates our Code of Conduct from attending current or future events, and to cancel an individual's registration.

At the Hearth Summit, you agree to:

  • Look out for one another as part of this community-oriented environment.
  • Respect the boundaries of other attendees.
  • Seek consent before initiating physical contact.
  • Avoid aggressively pitching your own cases, services, or products.
  • Respect confidentiality requests by fellow delegates.

We will not tolerate the following behavior:

  • Sexual harassment of any kind, including unwelcome sexual attention or unwelcome physical contact.
  • Disruptive behavior, drinking excessively, stalking, or following anyone.
  • Abuse of power (including abuses related to position, wealth, race, or gender).
  • Homophobia, racism, or behavior that discriminates against a group or class of people.
  • Violent or threatening behavior.

We will investigate reported incidents as appropriate. You can be assured this will be done with discretion and confidentiality.

Ethical Business Conduct

The Hearth Summit expects attendees to conduct all matters in an ethical manner with the highest standards of integrity. This includes engaging in good faith, honest and fair dealings, and protecting confidential and proprietary information.

We also expect attendees not to engage in conflicts of interest, including but not limited to: exerting undue influence; self-dealing; nepotism; accepting personal payments, gifts or offers in exchange for benefits; engaging in conflicting outside employment; and using the funds or labor for personal use.

Reporting

If you experience or witness what you feel is harassment or inappropriate behavior at the Summit, please report it immediately to hearthsummitnairobi@axum.earth.
